Rifle Scopes help choose what rings to buy

I'm going to be buying a matching set for my Savage 10FP .308 and my Savage Mark II TR .22lr. Which would you choose and why.

The Burris signature zee rings are a favorite for a lot of people, great scope rings for the money. You can also take a look at the Burris XTR rings, which are pretty good as well.

I've only used the Warnes and the Burris, and they work, but I'm a convert of the Burris Signature ones (with the inserts). They are one of those things, once you use them, you love them. No ring marks! And only ten bucks more than the regular Burris Zee rings. I had them on a .308 for a bit before I rebarreled it and they never came loose.
