Help me choose a bolt

I want upgrade my R700 bolt, as well as switch calibers from 308 to 6.5x47 Lapua.
I want a bolt that has a smaller diameter FP hole, mini m16 extractor, and that is fluted. I looked on the PT&G website, and it says I need to measure my raceway. What's the best method for making this measurement, and how much smaller should my bolt diameter be? Does anyone else make R700 bolts?

I tried contacting LRI about it, but haven't received a reply in almost a week. Im planning on having LRI install the new bolt.

Call LRI or email them again. Every email I have ever sent was returned the same day or the next. It may have gotten thrown into the ether. Great folks to deal with, if you plan on letting them do the work then they should be the only ones telling you what you need to do.

Good luck with PT&G. Look through the threads on here and look at their wait times and delivery issues. While I haven't had any issues in my limited experiences with them, others have been having lots of issues as of late.

I have read that. I haven't found another company that manufactures bolts though.
