any help?

Re: help me Identify this trigger guard.

The fact that it says Anschutz makes me think its from a Anschutz.

Better known for their Biathlon and Target lines of rifles, they also make some hunting rifles.

Their current line of hunting rifles dont seem to have a square trigger guard like that.

What type of rifle is it on?

Re: help me Identify this trigger guard.

its on a Omark mod 44 with a custom walnut stock.. I purchased the rifle like this and I'm wanting one for a new build currently in the works, I like this trigger guard because its sturdy, has a flat bottom and is open enough for use with gloves.

Re: help me Identify this trigger guard.

I'm not familiar with Omark - is it a manufacturer or model?

Maybe Anschutz still make the part or could tell you who/where they supplied them?

Otherwise I'd imagine it's down to trawling shows/spares bins, dealers or maybe try seeing if a Hide member in Germany can help find a smith in Germany whomay have them?

Re: help me Identify this trigger guard.

I did some digging and looked at quite a few different websites and i believe its from a 1913 supermatch.. or the related family of rifles (particularly the prone stock model).

I tried numrich gun parts at the recommendation of a fellow hide member but they're out of stock with the standard "try again in 30-60 days" message.

I'd settle for a used one in reasonable condition its just finding one that isn't attached to a complete rifle that I think the problem will be...
