Alright guys. I have a Nemesis arms miniwindrunner in .308 and I am ready to get a scope on her so I can start playing. My research has lead me to the following choice:

Nightforce NXS F1 Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 3.5-15x 50mm Zero Stop Side Focus First Focal Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle 1/10 Mil Adjustment Matte with Ultralite Picatinny-Style Rings Matte Medium

However, due to the sizable investment I want to be sure that I am getting the appropriate quality scope for the quality of rifle I have.

Have an opinion, please weigh in and let me know what you think.

Re: Help me pick my scope.

Nightforce makes top notch Optics and that from all accounts is a great choice. Im sure you will get some ZIESS, S&B, Premier, and USO owners to sound off. I personally went with USO for the lower profile EREK and 44mm Low Profile Objective. I liked the Reticle choices offered by USO as well. The Nightforce F1 is a good choice. Nightforce, USO, Premier, S&B, Ziess, any will have great support and are good optics. Can't really go wrong, more about the features your looking for.

Can't go wrong with Nightforce. Like Sapper524 said, you should look at top notch brands like S&B, USO, and Premier. Look through them all first before you make the purchase, YMMV.

Agentloveless....

Every scope listed by other members in this thread so far is top notch. But I am the type of guy where I'll still try to find great quality at a good price. I would recommend getting the SWFA SS 10x42 Tactical Riflescope for $799.95 and invest the left over cash in classes at Rifles Only and reloading equipment. The fixed ten power HD is an awesome scope for the price and plus its .10 mil-rad with a mildot rectacle and a 30mm tube.

But thats just what I would do.

+1 for the MLR or NP-R1. Mil-dots will work, but there are better options for ranging/holdovers.

If I had $2200 to spend on a scope, I would probably go for a USO. But again, that's my preference and I'm sure you will be happy with that NF.

*** If going with a NF, you might hold off a month or so until the new line of speed turrets come out***
