I'm looking for a nice light weight - AR-10 upper. I need it to be DPMS style to go with my lower. I'm having a hard time finding too many companies that build them. Can you all help?

Fulton makes an 18" light weight upper for about a grand. You can also build something for yourself for about 800.

DPMS is LR308 and not AR-10 first off. The 308 AR platform is platform dependant. Armalite and DPMS don't play together.
For your upper, what bbl length? What purpose are you planning this being used for?
As far as manufacturers.... DPMS and Fulton come to mind. You could always build one to your specs. Rainier select barrels are really nice for the price, definitely MOA.

He's looking for a barrel of 18 inches and it will be used for hunting. As long as the upper will fit a DPMS lower, that will be fine.

Yea what Matt said - 18-20" - going to be used MAINLY for hunting - and of course shooting the Gong at 300 yards :-D

16-18" is all you need. If you build one I'd go 16" rainier select or ultra match whichever you can afford. If you buy I'd probably get a fulton since they are on sale right now, there is a fulton 18" chrome lined that will do what you want for 1100 out the door.
