Hi everybody, i need advice on what should be my next bolt action, i want something that will primarily be bench/target shooter but the occasional Hog eradicator.
I already have a 6.5 Creed (Howa 1500 HCR) and it is much more accurate than i am, but it is a heavy barrel 26" and not meant for lugging around.
i want to go with a Remington, i thought i should get a 308 and try it out and see if i can handle the recoil, since it will also work as a part time Hog riffle,then figured i might as well go 243 for less recoil.
I looked at the SPS varmint, the ADL, police etc and truth be told there are too many choices.
What do you guys suggust?
