I have googled it, read every forum i could find and went to my local gun store and held as many rifles as possible. I have been able to look at a few ruger 556's, colt ar's and a FN scar. From the rifles i have handled i would choose the ruger 556FB, the others just didnt feel right or comfortable to me. I know can order several other rifles, so i would like some imput on my list of what im looking at. Here are the four others i am looking at online:
Sig556 DMR
DPMS Panther Mini SASS
S&W M&P 15T
Daniel Defense M4 carbine V5
Like i said earlier if i just went out locally and bought one off the shelf it would be the ruger 556 but i want the most for my money. I am plannig also on using a vortex strikefire scope with VMX3 magnifier.

thanks

The ruger is a fine gun...but heavy for a piston driven AR and less user friendly as the piston ARs go. Sig 516s are going for under $1.1k on gunbroker. Reliable and a good warranty. Your post led me to believe that you're after a piston AR. If not...Spikes Tactical LEM4 models can be had for $799 all day with outstanding specs on materials for a DI AR-15.
