I am loading 7mm-08 with 162gr. a-max. Hodgdon gives a starting load of 45.0gr. and a max of 48.0gr with h4350 powder. The OAL for their data is 2.875. I am using badger m5 dbm and it looks like I can only load to 2.830. My question is should I back off below minimum due to the bullet being seated deeper in the case or will I be o.k. starting at the minimum and working up? If I need to back off then how much?
