I am looking to build a new long range rifle that will occasionally be used for hunting. I’m coming to you today to ask what caliber should I choose? I was thinking either 6.5 PRC, or 300 PRC suggestions?

Hunting what and what distances for LR?

Up to 700 yards, but I want to be able to take it out to a mile. The gun will mainly be focused on Long rang shooting.

If possibly shooting matches, I’d go 6.5cm.

If mainly prone, 6.5prc.

Look into the foundation revelation stock. It’s a very good hybrid.

6.5cm will drop a lot of game and is awesome at 700 and respectable at a mile.
Also cheaper to shoot and fairly easy on barrels.
