Gunsmithing Help.. which cartridge is seated correctly in the barrel ?

Both barrels are 6xc, both cartridges are loaded and pushed as far Into the barrel as I can.

If I put the top barrel on my rifle all is well, if I put the bottom barrel on my rifle I can't chamber a round.

Is there anything I can adjust with my resizing due to make that cartridge fit? What am I doing wrong?

The bottom chamber seems a bit short on headspace.

I’m not a gunsmith, but I would guess the top barrel is closer to safe. Ultimately, a go and no go gage should be utilized to be sure if it’s safe.

Looks like you have one of each 6xc generation.
A 6xc i cut for narrower 22-250 brass and a 6xc ii cut for wider 308 brass.

Norma brass wont fit in the gen i chamber, its made for the gen ii chamber.

Spife , that's what I think too!

I polished the chamber and made it fit.. we will see this
Weekend how accurate it is
