So I had some spare time and wound up coming home with a 6mm Creedmoor. My problem now is to work up a load or two for it. I probably won't shoot matches with it, I bought it more for a plinker, deer, and varmint rifle. I've got the brass and picked up some 105 VLD Hunters and some 80gr Nosler BT Varmints. Unfortunately for me, there is no H4350 to be found near me, so all I have to work with is RL-17, Varget, and H1000. Can anyone give me a rough idea of where to start with these (especially the 80gr Varmints)? I would imagine Varget would work well for 80s and 105s and RL-17 for 105s as well. Any help/tips with this cartridge is greatly appreciated!

17 will do fine. This is just to add some ideas to your post and others can fine tune if they have actual data. With the 105s start around 40.0g and work your way up while watching for pressure signs.

44.5grains and up should be okay with the h1000 and 105s.

I don't have any idea with the 80s. Run a ladder with R17 and identify pressure signs or if you have a chrono use that. Without doing research and without personally testing I would say start at 41.5 and work your way up
