Hey Guys I just bought an Remington 700 SPS DM in 7 MM Rem. Mag. Now i was using it for hunting so i wasnt goig to customize it but my dad gave me his .270 so i was wondering: I see all these 700's with detachable 5-10 rnd. mags, ive found a bunch of kits for the BDL ADL exc... but will these work for the SPS DM, are all the 700 series pretty much the same when it comes to mags kits and stuff, If anyone could would you please help me find a detachable 5-10 rnd mag/kit that will for sure work with the SPS DM in 7mm Rem. Mag. Thanks all!

Badger or CDI for starters...I don't think you're gonna find a 10 rd for a magnum though.

AICS magazines only offer 5 rounds for any long action, 10 and 5 are for short actions, I am not sure about the short magnums.

Ok thanks for the help guys. But do you guys know if lets say the mag conversion kit that fits a 700 BDL will fit a 700 SPS? Are all of the 700 line guns basically the same, give or take free floating barrel or bedded reciever? The Actions are the same i know that, but are the custom stocks, bolts, ETC..., the same between the SPS BDL ETC... I really Appreciate the help guys...

Your goin to probably need a stock that will except the Badger or whatever you choose and still then it may require some inleting to allow it to fit in the stock. Get ready to open up your wallet.

you will need a new stock with the new DBM bottom metal. This is another top 20 repeated thread. Do a search next time and you will come up with more answers. you will only get a 5 rd mag with an LA or magnum caliber action. AI at one point did sell 10rd 300 WM mags but they were so heavy and awkward that I sold them as soon as I got them in.

Ok well thanks guys, i did research but none of the threads answered my questions tell now, I fond a system that wont need any inletting at, just some DO IT YOURSELF simple stuff. If i Get a BELL & Carlson stock then there is a Conversion "Drop In Kit" from Wyatt's Outdoors thats only $240. It Reguires little to no Pro Gunsmithing. Besides i want to do it myself. Ive already bedded the Reciever and free floated the barrel, my dad did his own Smithing so i look forward to it. I am actually taking back the 700 SPS and Picking up the SPS Varmint in .308, there are just more for short actions it seems. By the Way FOR ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE A HOWA M1500 CDI MAKES BOTTOM METAL FOR AIC MAGS. MY BUDDY HAS THE HOWA/AXIOM IN 7MM MAG. HE JUST GOT THE BOTTOM MEDAL DONE WITH 5 RND MAG. I WILL POST SOME PICTURES THE GUN IS ABSOLUTELY SICK WITH THE KNOXX/AXIOM STOCK. Suprisingly little recoil for a mag to.
