Help with 700 sps varmint a4

I bought a Remmy 700 SPS Varmint in a .308 for hunting and some distance shooting a while ago and Iv finally saved up a little extra cash to have some fun with it. I want to throw on a McMillan A4 stock on it (most likely olive) (and someday a trigger) but I had a few questions if anyone could help out. The gun has a 26" heavy barrel (bull barrel/ watever you want to call it) and has a hinged floor plate (no magazine) so my question was, Will it now accept magazines? or is there something extra I need to do? Im new to the forum but am a big enthusiast

Yes, you will need new bottom metal that accepts magazines. The popular AICS is one of the stocks that includes the bottom metal built in it. Manners Mini chassis is another.

In a nutshell,yes your rifle will accept mags.As long as you have the stock inletted for some form of DBM,and you purchase said DBM.

Look up Jeff with CDI. He will hook you up with what you need, while saving you some money for other parts.
