Hey friends, I need some help please. My camp was robbed two weeks ago and they stole my thermal monocular. It was an older one that needed updating anyway. I have a dedicated thermal scope (pulsar thermion xp50), mounted on a 450 bushmaster. I do not plan on changing that setup. I am in the market for a thermal monocular that will double as a a clip-on for all my different guns. Please advise me on what unit you would choose and also where you would purchase it from. I would like to thank everyone for any help they can give me.Thanks,
Joe

Instead of a clip-on, I would recommend a Bering Optics Hogster 25 or 35. They are so compact that they are smaller than many scanners, and are really good weapon's sights as well. For the money, they are fantastic options. They both come with a QD (they call it QR) picatinny mount so they can be moved to up to 4 different guns by simply changing which rifle profile you want to use. They hold zero very well and come with a 4 year, transferrable warranty. There is a Hogster clip on, but you thread on an eyepiece to use it as a scanner. This is OK, but I don't like the 3x base mag as a scanner. The 25 is 1.4x and the 35 is 2x base mag. They are cheaper and more versatile in my opinion.

Where would you suggest shopping for one of these? Is there a specific business you prefer to deal with?
