Help with extending phone hotspot?

I'm looking for a list of what I need make my phones hotspot to work on the boat.

I work on a steel hulled fishing vessel that effectively blocks all signal while in the galley or bunk. Ideally want to be able to leave my phone plugged in in the wheelhouse and use a router to be able to connect my iPad to the internet through my mobile hotspot.

What do I need?

That looks like its for extending the range of the phone signal to the phone.

You could possibly use a WIFI extender I use one to extend wifi from my house out to my portable building about 50 feet from the house. I think it might work for a mobile hotspot not sure though.
