I recently had some hearing damage after the guy next to meet was shooting a desert eagle next to me for about 30min indoors. Since then I have decided to take hearing extremely seriously and had custom earplugs made. My issue is now the earmuff, which one offers the greatest protection? I was using pro ears gold when shooting my rifle but the issue I had was the cheek well. I had the best earmuffs but for the wrong firearm.
What do people on here recommend for the highest protection keeping in mind the cheek well when shooting a rifle. I don't need electronics unless I need to buy a higher model to get protection.
