A friend of mine had a relative pass away recently, and he found this rifle in the man's possessions. The family was fine with him taking it, but he doesn't know much about it and asked me if I knew anything about it. I have not physically handled the rifle yet, but he sent me these photos, and all I really know is that it is .243 Win. Can any of you knowledgeable gentlemen help out with identifying and possibly the value of the rifle? I will try to get some better pictures if needed.
