right now i have a Remi 700p and just got a noveske M4

i am looking into a semi long range rifle what would you guys resommend, i want something equal or even better range than my remi.

You want a semi that will match or outperform your bolt. What kind of performance and on what are you really looking for? Shooting steel and paper, or are you looking for terminal effects on game? Max intended range?

Just how much are you willing to spend? Do you reload? If so, what calibers are you already set up for? Do you already have an optic or is that going to play into your budget too? Semi auto in San Fran? That ought to be fun....

Details are necessary for quality answers. What you're looking at right off the bat is a recommendation of getting a 20"-24" barreled DPMS/Armalite .260/6.5CM or .308, but depending on your budget and maximum intended range you may be able to go shorter on the barrel and higher quality in the build.
