I was just at my local Cabela's looking at the used stuff for a beater Remington that I could use as a build action. I came across a Remington 700 ADL .243. It had a Kahles Helia Super fixed power scope on it and appeared to be a 70's-90's model Remington. They are asking $399. I was thinking that the scope might have a little value even though it is scratched up. Do you guys think that is a good deal?

Its not too bad of a deal really. I picked up a Wal-Mart 700 ADL with a shitty Remington marked scope for the same price here a few moths ago. I am kind of a fan of the older Remington actions myself as I think that they feel a little smoother to me.

that`s a good buy........ if everything is o.k.....galled lugs...cracked parts...would be a detrement....the guns worth 300$....... and the scopes worth 200$........i think they`ve got an exchange/return policy
