I am in a situation where I can purchase a NXS F1 for $2290, plus $85 shipping, and $320 for the "hi-speed" turret upgrade for a total of $2695. I realize that the new "hi-speed" models sell for $2290, but my options of where I can purchase are limited. I know the Nightforce is a great option for the price, but my question is, for $2695, do you feel that the NXS F1 is still a good option, or would it be better to spend the same/similar amount on a Premier 3-15, S&B 3-12, or a S&B 4-16.

Thanks for your help,

Re: Help with Scope Choice

I wouldn't spend $2700 on a NF F1. You are paying full retial at $2290 so why are you limited as to where you can buy from?

Re: Help with Scope Choice

I travel a lot and have accumulated gift certificates for Amazon. They only list the NXS F1 without the Hi-speed turrets. I know if I were to shop around I could find a better price, but I am limited to Amazon if I want to use the certificates ($1800 value).

Thanks,

Re: Help with Scope Choice

I hear you, Triggermonkey, just wondering for a total price of $2695 ($895) out of pocket, if I would be better of with the F1 or similar priced S&B 3-12....

Thanks

Re: Help with Scope Choice

$2700 for a NF is ludicrous. I'll tell you this much, I've owned a lot of NF scopes, and have been relatively happy with them, but there's no way I'd spend $2700 on one.

He said it was $85 for shipping and $320 for Hi Speed turrets so $2290 + $405 = $2695
