I am putting a leupold mk4 on my fn pbr xp. Will extra high rings work for this or should I go out and buy standard rings? Thanks

Since Mk4 Leupolds come in 30mm, 36mm, 40mm, and 50mm objectives, it would be a big help to know what scope your actually planning on using.
And yes, extra high rings will work with any of the above, but they will usually be too high...What ring brand are you thinking of? All rings are not created equal...
Also I presume your using the bases that came on your FN PBR?

The base that came on the fn. I have PRI extra high rings and I will be getting a leupold w/ 50 objective. thanks
