I have a springfield M1A rifle and wanting to start shooting in some NRA competitions or any kind there of. Im located in Houston Texas but dont really know where to look or how to get started. Any body's help would be greatly appreciated?

You might wish to join the Texas State Rifle Association. Their web site lists competitions around the state. See the "Matches" tab on the web site:

Bayou Rifles, south of Houston, has a match of some kind every weekend.

What about South carolina i live in conway sc about 10 miles from myrtle beach and im also wanting to get started i have a remington 700 223 and a savage 110 in 30-06 what classes would you reccomend in starting with those guns
