Suppressors here is a question on 556 thru a 30cal ?

I have a 7" ar pistol and two suppressors on the wait list (prob a year to go)
one is a 556 suppressor but the manufacturer says not to use it with anything less
than a 10", so could I use the 30cal suppressor with a 7" 556 ????

just asking since I have forever to wait :-( ..

the 30 cal is a huntertown Kestrel .308 ..

Unfortunately, going 30 cal won't do you any good as far as length is concerned. You're going to have to buy a can that is rated for a barrel that short. I'm in the same boat and it looks like the Saker 556 is one of the only options out there for a barrel between 7-8".

The specwar 762 is rated for 7.5" (I believe) in 5.56, 10" in .308, and 14" in .300 RUM

I sent an email to the folks I bought from but no response, can you cancel and
resubmit ??? they have already chased the check (within 2 weeks).

I'd hate to muddy the waters, I have two others with another company
I'm behind the curve on suppressors since i just moved back to the US
from Kalifornia so I have 4 in the works ..

information would be a good thing.

You can absolutely cancel a form 4. They will (eventually) refund your $200. In the meantime you would submit another transfer using a trust via eForms. You would have to swing the $200 while the refund is in the works.
