Long story short I’ve been wanting to get into this for a while. Have some basic shooting knowledge but really enjoy sitting at a bench and testing out different ammo. Just sold my basic Remington 700 ADL that I was building and trying to decide between the Remington 700p 26” barrel .308 or the Remington Magpul Hunter 6.5 Creedmore 22”.

Welcome aboard, it really depends on what you are wanting to do with the rifle. I for one shoot a 308, had a 26" barrel but i also hunt with it so I shortened it to 22". YMMV. I also run a suppressor it gets long and heavy in the brush with 26" plus a can. The info on here is fantastic.
