Hesco 3810 Level 3+ Plates vs. Others?

Hey guys,

I've got a T. Rex Arms AC1 medium sapi plate carrier on the way and I'm looking for quality level 3+ or level 4 plates. I've been looking at the Hesco 3810s, which are 4 lbs and $625 each in a sapi medium.

Are there any other sapi medium level 3+ or level 4 plates you think are worth looking at (ex. lighter weight)?

Waiting for my 3810s I bought in EARLY September. I have their level 4 single curve and if that's any indicator, I'm going to be very happy w/ the 3810s.

Anyone know anything about DFNDR Armor?

I see they have level 3+ plates in a sapi medium for $600 each that only weigh 2.5 lbs (vs. 4 lbs with the Hesco 3810s).

Never mind. Just realized their Level 3+ doesn't defeat m855 like the 3810. They have a Level 3++ that does, but it weighs 4.1 lbs.
