Just want to say hi to everyone here. I'm planing on buying a bolt gun in the near future and want to learn and get inform before I buy. I'll be doing a lot of reading here. I'm not going to buy nothing fancy or expensive. Just a rifle/scope that I can learn the basics with. I don't have any places near me that I can shoot long range, so this set up will be maybe used once or twice a year. I already own firearms, so I'm not new at shooting. Any help later on would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I dont know where you are in FL, but you should come out to Manatee with us and see what we all use and maybe drive a few rifles before you buy something.

Thanks for the invite. Just did a google map search and is 3.5 hours away from me. Not too bad, since I drove 6.5 hours for a AR15 tactical class in Tallahassee, Last year and going again in March 15-16 ;-) Once I replenish my funds i'll take on your invite. Thanks!!!!
