Hi from the UK

Probably not best person to ask about ownership restrictions in UK, but am sure some more experienced UK forum members will contribute.
But generally:

  • Firearms certificate (FAC) or a shotgun certificate (SGC) required to own a firearm (and issued through local police force)
  • Ownership of semi-automatic rifles (other than .22 rimfire) and most handguns/pistols prohibited
  • Largest calibre generally considered legal is .50 BMG?
