Welcome to the site, I have heard sako makes some good guns but i never have had a chance to shoot one.
Thanks. Sakos are well made, handcrafted and very consistent. They are expensive. Tikka is more affordable and barrels and triggers are finished by the same craftsmen that work on Sakos. Once I began operating both Sako trg 22 (.308) and trg 42 (.338 Lapua Mag) and later the Tikka T3 Tactical/T3x Tac A1 I've found it hard to pull anything else out of the safe. I've invested a lot of time and money to bring other platforms up to this level of performance. With Sako/Tikka I get it right out of the box. Both brands are more visible than they were years ago and their popularity has risen among tactical shooters and hunters. Try one you'll probably like it...
