Gunsmithing Hidden White Cerakote UPDATED

Has anyone tried the Hidden White Cerakote? I just got some for a project and I'm very disappointed with it. For some reason it starts to harden in my spray gun, to the point that I had to remove my filter to finish up. About 10 minutes after I mixed in the hardener it turned into a drywall mud consistency. As you can imagine the finished product didn't turn out very well either.

I mixed it by the directions just like I have 20 other times, and my spray gun was cleaned spotless. Anyone ever have this problem?

I have used it with no problem, but i don't have a screen in the gun itself. I personally don't like it at all. Gets to dirty and nasty looking.

I've only used the Air Cure version of Hidden white, but I like the color and will be using it again on my integrally suppressed 9mm shortly.

I've used it quite a bit in winter camo versions. Never any problems. Call NIC, they will take care of you.

Just wanted to update and give thanks to NIC. I talked to Matt and he said he's not sure what caused the problem but they're sending out a new bottle at no charge!!!

It's so nice when a company takes care of their customers!
