Rifle Scopes High Altitude effects on Scope

Can high altitude(15000') cause a scope's seal to leak or draw moisture in when returnning to sealevel.

Yes, if the seal is weak or defective.
Easy to check, put it in a deepfreeze overnight, then put it in a 5 gallon bucket of hot water, look for bubbles.
