I recently ordered a new AI AT rifle from EuroOptic. I was very pleased with my initial communications with them over the phone and via e-mail. They were very friendly and helpful.
However, when my new rifle arrived at my FFL, I was greatly disappointed to see the rifle had a significant scrape at the end of the barrel. After further inspection, it was clear the barrel had poked through the inner styrofoam and the then the outer cardboard box and had scraped against something rough.
I immediately called EuroOptic, but they were already closed. I then sent them an e-mail.
Now ... the really good part.
By the time I woke up the following morning, I had received a reply e-mail from EuroOptic. They had already started the process of exchanging the rifle for me. They made contact with my FFL and had a new one shipped out later that same day. They also made arrangements to have the damaged rifle shipped back to them that same day.
I must say I was prepared for a very difficult problem when I first saw the damaged rifle. I was envisioning all kinds of negative scenarios. However, it was resolved so perfectly and easily, that I was amazed.
I do not blame EuroOptic for the damage. Frankly, the AI box is quite a bit oversized and allows the rifle to shift too much. Also, I used to work for a freight company in college, so I know very well how the boxes are treated.
What I can definitely say if EuroOptic was incredible in how they quickly and easily solved the problem.
I highly recommend EuroOptic to anyone who is considering using them.
