I had just signed on to the Hide when he was on his way out. Had a couple of minor rhubarbs with him. I just ignored him. I know from experience that not getting any attention drive people like that berserk. I enjoyed every minute of it......In a way, I'm kind of sad to see him gone. It would fun to be able to ignore him more.
That was definitely the original. His youtube channel name is “Busheler”, and that’s used on some
other gun/hunting forums as well.
I think this was filmed along his trout river in Alaska, back when his handle was Kurz, someone went up to ask him the absolute best twist for a .22 caliber rifle......

I enjoyed watching him have a seizure anytime you knew he was trolling, and your reply only sort of questioned him yet also sort of agreed with him. You knew he couldn't help but respond, yet if you trolled hkkm correctly he basically started arguing against his previous posts.

As I recall hurt feelings were rampant here. Larry kinda tickled me at times but his sense of self preservation left the building way before he did. Using spurs on El Jefe is not the wisest course assuming you intend to stay here.

I understood all of the words, yet only understood like 50% of WTF he was saying.
Context is important. Barrel break-in and debating the merits, or lack thereof, was all the rage. Like some of the others, I was here when he posted that. One of the funniest things ive ever seen, bar none. It was epic to watch the break-in folks defend their position more aggressively, while scolding him for mistreating HIS rifle. Pure awesomeness! The vid of his son launching a leupold with butler creeks across the yard over and over was a good one too.
Lumberjack, guiding and hunting his ass off, with a quiver of nice rifles, while living in alaska. Many here, including myself, are envious of such a lifestyle. Probably one of those guys that would be more fun to have a beer with. Oddly, he was more informative on other sites. I guess something about the hide triggered the troll in him. His black and white absolutism is what I found stupid. Too many ways to skin this cat to take that position, which made him look ridiculous in my eyes.
