Hoping someone might know him or have a way that I can get in contact with him – have paid for the item I’m not seeing anything

A few weeks back he contacted me, trying to sell a NF scope. When I asked for his phone # to personally talk with him, he went dark on me, & I haven't heard back!!!! Glad I didn't send him any $$$$$ !!!!
