I’m wondering if you guys might help me determine the value of a rifle A customer is Interested in trading.

Tooley Orion action with aics chassis. Leupold Optic, maybe you guys can spot more details as I didn’t inspect it well enough. . Suppressed armament can and hard case.

any ideas for a starting point?

Can’t help you with value but that’s an attractive rifle.

I’m gonna have to rub one out after those pics.

Be back in five.

Spit balling here based on parts value: chassis $750, barreled action (I believe Orion = Stiller) $14-500 ish depending on trigger and round count, suppressor $400 (secondary market not great on form 4 stuff), Leupold Mk 4(?) $700. Rings $100, bipod $75, hard case $75. Totals up to about $3500. I think you could probably get a buyer in the $3000-3500 range, fair price for a sweet looking 338 setup. Would probably sell more quickly or for a higher price if you got some nice looking custom cut foam for the case, that old foam makes the gun look old.

Knock off whatever margin you want to make on the deal and there's your trade in value.

much appreciated. That’s in the ballpark of what I was thinking. Do you think that this kit would be appealing to a buyer here on the hide at that price point?
