SIG 516, 1-7 5.56x45 chamber, 14.5 inch chrome-lined barrel, 5 shot group around 1 inch at 100 yards. 25.2gr 8208XBR, LC brass (weight sorted, 93gr +-0.5gr), CCI400, BTO: 1.835, 2820 FPS.
SIG M400, 1-7 5.56x45 chamber, 16 inch Nitride barrel, 5 shot group around 1.5 - 2 inches at 200 yards, but occasionally I get 0.5 inch groups at 100 yards. 25.2gr CFE223, and yes, it's very slow. LC brass (mixed), CCI400, BTO: 1.85, I did not even record the velocity.
JP side charging AR (I cannot remember the model), 1-8 223 Wylde chamber, 22 inch stainless steel barrel. 5 shot groups usually less than 0.6 inches at 100 yards, on a good day less then 1 inch at 200 yards, 25.7gr CFE 223. I only played a bit with this bullet in this rifle, I usually shoot the 77gr TMK.
BTO with the 62gr FMJ-BT was 1.85, and then later I found with weight sorted LC brass (92gr +-0.5gr) it shoots about 1.7 inches at 200 yards with a BTO of 1.875. I also played a bit with Varget, 5 shots groups were usually around 1 - 1.5 inches and occasionally less than 0.5 inches at 200 yards.
25gr Varget, weight sorted LC brass, BTO 1.85, CCI400. Velocity was 2887 FPS. For some reason I did not record anything else, probably because I got angry because everything above 25.4gr was just recorded as shit and bad in my notes.
In my experience when I tried pushing this bullet past 2900 FPS, in my rifles in anyway, it starts grouping quite badly (+2MOA). I prefer the Hornady 62gr HPBT (The cheap ones sold by Midsouth Reloading)
