Does anyone have experience with the hornady superperformance ammo? I currently use 73gr ELD ammo (the white box) and wondering if the super line is any better.

Shot some superformance yesterday in 270 win feather weight barrel .
I was impressed, holding sub moa till my shoulder had gave out.
I might add cold bore test, the feather weight gets warm fast.

Can not find my target, lost in space I suppose.
I plan on using it all deer / hog season.
I have 100 rounds on hand and will be looking for sales.

Sorry no pictures or chronograph.

I didn’t see a section for factory ammo discussion, so I figured this would be the next best place. I prefer to spend more time shooting instead of reloading.

Glad to hear good things about it. How did the primers look afterwards?

The primers and brass look fine, my chrono shoulder can tell it's hot.
The distance I will be using it at I have a 50/150 zero, holdover starts at 200
Which I will be under at all times with that gun. Our situation dictates head shots.!

I can say the superformance is the best ammo my 30 + year old 270 has seen.
Did you say wwb ammo? It is the worst stuff ever, any cal. .
I am not a Hornady bitch, but they got this one right, try some.

To date the gun and myself somewhat, it sports a Leopold 2x7 with 1/2 moa hash
Marks on the turret, not clicks, no kidding. It was a light setup at the time.
It's not a range toy so not a driving need to reload but still saving brass in case.
I was starring at a 270 die set today and wondered why.

Nice. Not winchester white box, the hornady match ammo that comes in the white box. Hopefully i can find a box locally before spending money on shipping from an online order.

My bad , I have no experience with the Hornady match ammo. "White box".
If hunting an expanding bullet, eld-x would be preferable, the superformance will work.
The non expanding match could be better on steel At distance.

If doing headshots doesn't make much difference and the steel don't care.

You didn't elaborate on intent, or cal, etc.!

I am using a 16" DDM4 that turned into an SPR. I don't need much past 600yds around here for steel/small game. I have a 24" 308 for the further stuff and big game.

Have not tried any in an ar, resuls may not be as dramatic as a bolt gun.
I would put it at the high price end for ar ammo.

The expense was worth it in my bolt gun, I will probably not reload 270
since it shoots so well and I don't spend a lot of range time on it.
