I am doing a comparison between two cartridges for a new Cooper that I am about to order. I can purchase loaded Hornady 6.5 Creedmore ammunition for about the same price as I can buy Nosler 260(Remington) brass.I have used Nosler brass in 30-06. And I do believe it is good brass. I believe it is Norma brass, but I am not exactly sure. Will the Hornady 6.5 Creedmore brass compare to the Nosler 260 brass??

The only Hornady brass I have used is for a 204 Ruger. However that is factory loaded ammunition, and I have not shot up all my factory ammo yet, so I have not reloaded any of it yet. So my experience is basically nil on reloading the Hornady brass. Does Hornady make its own brass?? And will it stand up?? To the Nosler?? Thanks, Tom.

Re: Hornady Brass

Hornady brass is very good in my opinion and experience. As i have mentioned in your other post I have loaded up my 6.5 Creedmoor to a grn over the factory load with the 140 AMAX and got it up to 2870fps with no pressure signs and have four reloadings on the brass and primer pockets are still nice and tight. I have no problem using Hornady brass.
