Have any of you guys used Hornady One Shot Case Lube as a release agent for bedding with devcon or marine-tex? I have some of it laying around so I thought I might give it a try. I've heard of people using it, but have any of you used it first hand? I don't want to end up gluing my action to my stock.

I goggled the name on the can and it looks like a few art supply places sell it for around $13 a can.

i called a place that made mold release products and offered free samples. i told her my usage and she started wiggling. its $20-$25 a can, we only sell by the case, there are minimums. so i said thats fine if it works, id like the advertised free sample. she wouldnt send me one, lol. $13 is a steal

One Shot works just fine as a release agent....let it dry completely then put a second coat on just for insurance, and you're GTG.

I like a spray on because it gets done fast, and gets into all the little areas that a rub on is tougher to apply. Though they work just as good, I've better things to do than piddle around with car wax or shoe polish.

Point and shoot.....
