Hornady universal decapping die

As stated by the title I have a universal decapping die from Hornady. It has a standard sized pin. And now a need a small pin to be able to process 6br and other small primer brass (rifle/pistol).

Does anyone know if Hornady makes a small pin to install in this die, part number ?

I called them a couple of years ago as to this, they said," NO". I ordered a redding with small dia pin

I turned down the pin on my
Universal decapping die.

Chucked it up in a variable speed drill and used a flat file to remove some metal.

Turned it down a little at a time until it became small enough to decap lapua 6.5 CM brass.

I heard about doing this on this site.

Redding sells the the small pins for their dies.

I have a new Hornady universal decappung die that has the small pin option so you might be in luck. I think the pins are a couple of bucks each.
