Rifle Scopes Horus reticle thru magnification range

I wanted to ask how well the Horus or similar reticles worked at the lower end of the magnification range, with a FFP scope maybe a 3-20, 5-25, or the 4.5-27. I figure the yardage will be between 100-1500 yard. And if the reticle is to small to use well on the lower end at what point do you feel it starts to become useful

15-18 for me to be truly useful, especially when holding 2/10 subtensions. Used H59 for last 5 months in PRS, but keeping scope at around 20x to use holding was working against me, with my vision. I was slower acquiring targets. Recently went to a simpler reticle. I really liked the H59, but with my vision, I had to be around 18-20 to fully use it. Going back to the Bushnell G3 now, one of my favorite reticles to date.

I'm at 12-18x most of the time with the H59. I can see the .2's fine at 12x and my eyes aren't the best.
