the A-Max.

In the post election scramble, I went to order some projectiles. They were out of the A-max but had a few boxes of the 140 grain match. Not a lot of information on them, so it makes me wonder. Anyone out there run these in anything?

The 140 BTHP is another excellent bullet from Hornady. They only give up a few BC points to the AMAX but are very accurate. Buy with confidence.

Good deal. I was hoping to hear that. The price was right too. Thanks.

For some reason, the AMAX requires a bit faster twist to stabilize than the hpbt. I've been using the 140match in an 8.5twist 260 and have had really good luck. 7.4mils to 900 and only .5 of wind in calm conditions.

I have shot a lot of 140's from different manufacturer and designs, they all shoot good enough for steel at 1250 and under.
