Gunsmithing how cheap can some one make me a thread cover

Im looking to take the break off.

So im looking for a muzzle thread cover for my gap barrel threads are 5/8 24tpi.

Worst case im driving cross country if i have to ill drive passed GA shop and have them make me one but was looking to just have it mailed to me.

Oh yeah and if you plan on shooting with it on, use some teflon tape, Mine always seem to work loose when shooting.

5/8-25? Are you sure? Thats a weird thread pitch but I guess it's possible.

If it's actually a 5/8-24 I have a tap for that, and if you could send me the thread depth measurements I'd be happy to make one for you out of stainless or chromoly for $5 to cover the material and S/H.

I could also phosphate coat the chromoly no problem.

Remember, when you ask for cheap, you get what you pay for.

Midway USA sells them, Brownells may have something. Any machinist with basic skills can make them for you.

Well To the bottel cap guy there no hole in them.

But thanks to a very nice person on here im getting a nice gap made cover that he doesnt need any more
