Re: how do i measure the scope height
Well, being somewhat analy retentive and a retired machinist/mold maker, I measure the diameters of the scope and the bolt. After the scope is mounted, I take an inside caliper and set it to the distance from the bottom of the scope to the top of the bolt. Then I add 1/2 the diameter of the scope and 1/2 the diameter of the bolt to the distance derived with the caliper. Pretty accurate within +/- .010", or better.
