Gunsmithing How do I remove bedding from a mini chassi?

You're probably not going to be able to leave the aluminum completely unfucked. I would do the best I could to scrape/sand/chip everything out and plan on a new skim bed job for your action.

How do I know what material I am dealing with? Could you show pictures of different bedding material?

You don't, unless you're a chemist with time and inclination.

Just start working on it. If it's good quality material, it will be a project.

OR...maybe you got lucky and they didn't really prep the surface, so it will flake off in bigger pieces...

..either way: get goin'. The forum won't solve it.

Dremel and a bunch of sanding drums and mini end mills. Devon is dark gray, most of the glasses are whiteish, but they can be dyed whatever color you want. It really shouldn't matter though, its all gonna suck.

Ok. I was able to chip most of it out in big chunks. Now where can I get action screws for the bighorn tl3 that are cut the right length so the front screw doesn’t run into the bolt on the T4a chassis? Gen 1

You can run the proper size nut on the bolt and grind off the length . When you run the nut off it will chase the threads . Put some cold blue on the tip your good to go.
