How do I send a private message?

I have filled out recipient, title, and the body, even selecting my recipient from that list like it tells me to, and I still cannot send my message through. It tells me I must enter a valid recipient from the list......which I do, and still it gives the same message..........I am using the snipershide website on a PC.

Does the same thing for me on mobile. Android tablet and phone.

Having issues responding to any thread using IPhone, in spite of being able to sign in, read messages-but cannot respond to site threads or PM's on phone. No issue from laptop. Only other way to reply to anything is via Tapatalk, with it's limitations. Tried resetting phone and site settings, but to no avail. Any suggestions very welcome.
