you can go to ferlach austria, they have a free 4 year school that teaches you to become a gunsmith. i hear that your senior year gun companies sponsor you if you show promise. my hunting buddies son is getting picked up by sauer rifles. speak any german?

Most manufactures have a 2 to 5 day armorers course that gives a three year certification. Most allow civillians to attend but some are resricted to LE/Mil only. Military armorer training does not give manufacture certification so military armorers are only certified to work on DoD weapons. Most LE agencies require a factory certification for the weapons they use.
