How do you delete old messages from your inbox??

I keep showing I have new messages in my inbox everytime I come on the sight. However they are all old messages. I would like to delete them but can't find anyway to do it.....

put an m80 on the keyboard, close the screen, and run.

Go To Inbox
Click the checkbox on the message(s) you want to delete
At the bottom of the screen select leave conversation in the action box
Hit Go

Seems to be a stretch to me. Had I not been able to copy from your post I would not be able to spell the word.
