Would like to know how many of the M8541 Scopes there are actually in private collections. Does anyone know?

I have heard that 10 were originally released to a movie studio who sold them. Premier bought a couple back, however, did not get them all. Also, I have heard that some companies were engraving the scopes just like the originals but some of the engraved also had the company's name on them so they are not confused with the original ten. This is all rumor that I have so far and haven't confirmed the number to fact.

I may have to contact S&B to find out. They have been pretty good about helping me out in the past. I have 2 of the M8541s now and there is another for sale. I may buy it to. I would like to hold all of them!

I haven't seen one selling for a while and I do check regularly like OCD regular.
