How much bump in a 6 arc gas gun?

Recently purchased a PWS 6 arc upper. New to the gas gun reloading and want to work my brass as little as possible. I figured a 5/1000” bump just to make sure everything cycles in the gun. Does this sound about right??

If you can bump consistently at .0005" go for it. .002-.003 should be about right.

Uhm, 0.0005” is 5 ten-thousandths, he was asking about 0.005” which is 5 thousandths.
