How out of shape did you get with your first kid?

Stayed in ok shape as camping, hunting, backpacking etc kept me so.
But I didn't know i was out of shape until I was chasing grandkids.

I would have to agree, my wife and I have always been fairly active in lifestyle. I am far from old at 36, but with four kids of my own, the gym/working out, can easily take a back seat to other priorities.
